New York City has four distinct seasonal personalities.

Summer is humid and hot and the parks and waterways are fully populated with locals and tourists having fun on all scales, large and small. Much of the eating is outdoor, the street performers are in full swing, wild life is everywhere and you hear a multitude of languages on every street.

Every weekend is packed with Summer schedules, street fairs, parades, and festivals galore: The Brazil Festival, Gay Pride, July 4th and more.

The beaches are packed and the carnival rides are filled with screams and laughter. There's high energy sports activity in the parks, and low-key lounging in the clubs, a day's end walk across the Brooklyn Bridge or strolling the High Line to the last rays of the sun.

As for Fall, we'll talk about that one later.
